It really depends on how black plays but I often get setups where I put it on B2.
English Opening...dark squared bishop?

Once b3 is played Bb2 can be good - especially for some Catalan style or b3-c4-d2-e3 pawn setup. In the Botvinnik triangle it is Be3 - after pawn e4 of course. In a closed Sicilian reversed some like Bg5 - but I don't. Nevertheless, in that case it is an obstacle on b2 then as you most likely have played Rb1 already. Then Bd2 is also good.
I've put this in another thread already that, unless you have a concrete need or knowledge for another square, Bd2 is most of the time a save choice. Not best, but save.
--> but this is a NON-master opinion :-)
For those of you who enjoy using the English Opening, what do you find to be a good development square for your dark-squared bishop?
