I have started playing more openings recently. Cycling through 1.e4 1.d4 as white (rather than 1.e4). 1.e5 1.d5 and 1.c5 with black against 1.e4 and 1.e6 1.d5 and 1.f5 against 1.d4 instead of 1.f5. Your rating takes a knock as you try to relearn openings you dont play often. But it is good fun. Best opening I found for low Elo fun is the Evans gambit.

first off... NEVER PLAY THE LONDON...
Alright to begin I feel like the main one people should study is the queen's gambit. It is easy to play and learn if they take but it gets a bit more complicated if they defend. Overall though it is my most recommended opening for beginners.
Next up we have the king's gambit.... It is for the exact same reason xd.
Yet again we have another opening: the King's indian. I would say only use it if you're bored of playing with the D or E though.
Lastly we have the Caro-Kann advanced variation (if black plays the Caro-Kann) because it will make it a bit harder for them to develop their pieces and make them waste a move trading the pawn so they can develop the king side knight.
Anyways that's all have a very epik day!
