This doesn't seem like the Evans Gambit Proper. I think it's 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Bc5 4.b4 Bxb4 5.c3 for the Evan's Gambit Accepted?

You are correct, Cutebold.

Developing pieces before sac'ing the pawn works better. Also, black doesn't have to take on b4 or move his bishop in this variation, as the bishop isn't on c5 being attacked.

yes the one you have posted in the diagram is not evans gambit!!!!

Look at opening explorer...........
