@TanakaYui, hello and thank you for your contribution. I was wondering if you have ever heard of this KGD trap.
I have not seen it being played, but I definitely try to be very careful of traps like these!

Lol, Right... That's why no one ever played it right?

That's why nobody plays it at the GM level any more outside of possibly blitz.
What GMs play in Blitz and what lowly amateurs play is irrelevant and has no meaning to the legitimacy of the opening. I've seen numerous cases of garbage played where that side that played the garbage won only because the opposing side was clueless as to what they had to do.
The third paragraph is so true. I’ve even seen a GM on chess.com open, and win with, h3! And btw, Simon Williams plays the KG.
Yes, I agree MrMebs, I have been wanting to say that on here, that the purpose of the opening is not to win, it is to get your pieces to their ideal positions for the middle game, and in turn, the endgame.
I want to start learning some efficient chess openings. So can anyone suggest me out some good openings for both black and white?
As White I think that you should always play e4 at the start. Head for a Guicco Piano, which is the opening shown. It leads to uncomplicated play in the  opening, with very little traps.
Very funny. I use the Fried Liver Defense in bullet sometimes.

As Black I recommend playing e5 against e4 and going for a Giucco Piano, and against d4, play d4. If White plays Queen’s gambit, accept it. You are aiming for open positions, which are easier at a beginner level to play.
My favourite is the super King's Gambit!
King's Gambit is crap.
Yes, black has many ways to play to defend and counter-attack. But it is still my favourite because it has given me so many beautiful games, won or lost. Sound or not, it is a fun opening for me where I feel I can play to my strengths
