I think it was Anand that once said "If White wants a draw, White has a draw!"
In other words, if half a point is all that White is looking for, he can get it with ease, so not surprised that a minor line leads to a quick draw. What would be surprising is if it gave White an advantage that easily.
This is the line suggested by Edward Dearing against the Spielmann Variation with 6.Bg5. Of course I know a lot of this is not specifically forced but I've looked at this using an engine and databases and these are all top moves.
I'm just suprised white can get such an easy game with a variation that is only considered a minor line and make a draw with so much ease.
Also, not like I'm too worried about this line in my actual games but are there other options I can take to play for a win?
