I am guessing it will depend on a random choice from its opening book.

play against it and you will know..it may change it's opening after playing you several times.
It plays EVERYTHING against me. (except all of the irregular openings like the Grob)

Just because Fritz 11 chooses a move to be the best move does not make it best for you. There are plenty of quality choices, and the first move only initiates an opening - it does not complete it. You need to choose an opening and play it a lot, and then find out what you like or don't like.
Could someone please tell me what move fritz 11 moves for its first move on hardest level?
