"Fun" is a relative word. I consider Symmetrical positions fun. I play the Black side of the Exchange French and Petroff, the White side of the Exchange Slav, and used to play the Exchange Kings Indian from the White side (Saemisch now). Others will tell you they'd rather watch paint dry than play those openings.

Currently, my favorite opening is the ponziani, which is e4 e5 Nf3 Nc6 c3.
I think it’s really fun to play, there’s lots of traps, and I’ll come out with an advantage the majority of the time.
I’m looking for more fun openings like that to play as white, after a different sequence of moves, like e4 e5 Nf3 d6 or e4 c5.
