Not the Exchange vs the KID. Either you have to play the simplistic 9.Nd5 line which allows Black good queenside play and at least equality, or go for the complications of 9.Bg5 c6 10.Nxe5 Re8 which are very sharp and theory intensive. Also, the Trompowsky (2.Bg5), while being an interesting line and a good way to avoid main line theory, does allow Black some sharp options (...c5 lines) where White sacrifices the b2-pawn for a lead in development.

Against the KID I'd probably play the Fianchetto if I were looking for a positional option, but there's always complex lines for Black if he chooses.

But in general, don't worry about openings too much for the moment. Play plenty of chess (especially OTB if possible - it forces you to take it seriously - and far less bullet and blitz than you seem to currently play), and practice tactics, positional play, and endgames. And categorising yourself as a "positional player" isn't useful. You need to be good at everything to advance in chess - it's no use outplaying your opponent if you cannot deliver the final blow, just as it's no use being good tactically if you're constantly being outplayed and obtaining losing positions.
