This is a great trap against the Caro Kann beginner and intermediate players. Much like the Tennison Gambit (or inter-galactic middle gambit), you sacrifice 2 pieces for the opponents queen. Unlike the Tennison, There is a mate in 5 if your opponent plays poorly
I would not recommend this at the advanced or beyond level because people would start to play the main line for the Caro. There are many more traps to this opening that work on 2000+ players so please let me know if you would like to know them.
