sorry no time at all for a reply
Hanham b3

3...Nd7?! is a weak move. 4.Bc4! and W is better (this is really old stuff and you can find it on wikipedia). 3...Nf6 is not exciting either since 4.dxe5 Nxe4 5.Qd5! is unpleasant.
As a consequence the hanham philidor has to be reached by trasposition via 1...d6. Several move orders are possible and W can deviate before the hanham is reached, but the resulting lines are very playable for black.

3...Nd7("classical hanham") is known as a mistake since the time of Nimzowitsch(he used to play Nf6 which is known as the "improved hanham") i believe. Here you can get the lines:

...Nd7?! is worse than the regular (and very playable) philidor variations and rarely used by strong players. W scores around 65% in most databases(and usually around 80% if he plays the line mentioned on wikipedia).
EDIT: Maybe you are referring to 1.e4 d6 2.d4 Nf6 3.Nc3 Nd7. this is indeed a very good moveorder but not the variation posted by the opener.
e4 e5 Nf3 d6 d4 Nd7 b3
