It's not caro when white plays 1. c4; you're playing against the English. Black has several options, one of the easier ones being a mirrored setup with a pawn on c5 and a fianchettoed kingside bishop. Fiddle around with the other pieces as you see fit.

haven't tried it, but it just sounds like a crazy game with tactics flying on both sides.
when i play i love the openings caro kann for black and the stonewall for white and im testing b4 but in the caro kann there is a position id rather now get into is there a gambit or anything to avoid this and get into the main line or acvanced?

i dont like this to much because of getting checked mainly is there a way to play caro and avoid this?
