How to not play sicilian sveshinikov


No, <exiankyrios> is right. The taimonov is a combination of e6 and Qc7 and is often reached from the position you've shown. To continue, It "wouldn't" be a taimanov if black played -Qc7- and d6.
Is all good point though, 2...e6 is not the way to play to play the sveshinikov-simply because its a totally different (but very playable) opening.
