A person who studies the Dutch would be keen to play ...Rh7.  Good idea for bullet, but against a Dutch player who is serious about the 2...h6 variation, they will make you prove the win.  Another option, which may be even better, is 2...g6, the positional approach. 

Bird brain, g6 gives white the initiative to white (as shown in the diagram) g6 is more played, and perhaps more sound, but not necissarily BETTER. but h6 is more dynamic for both players

dude, youre just assuming that black sucks and doesnt know lines, seriously black plays the dutch usually if he/she knows lines

besides, lbj recently i played a 2300 who played the dutch And iplayed the Bg5 and he proceded to lose in 20-ish moves. here, is the game.

After 3.h4 in the game above black should play 3...h6 so that he can meet an eventual h5 with g5.

Also after 2.Bg5 g6 3.Nc3 black should play 3...Bg7 not 3...d5. White procedes with 4.e4 dxe4 5.Nxe4 d5 and black usually gets an equal game as long as he is careful to control the e5 square.

Post black's best lines next time you claim white gets an edge...

I hate the Dutch, so I will look at this because i do play the Bg5 lines, although if Black plays 1.. e6 then 2... f5 they do not work that well.

Personally I think the Dutch is an inferior opening, but I have to go through and refresh my lines all the time and the thing hardly ever comes up above 2000 so it is just a lot of time and effort for very little reward, annoying. However Dutch players will just say tough and they would be right

There is a wonderful game somewhere where Carlsen smashes up the top Dutch player in 19 moves, it brought tears to my eyes. I just cant place it at the moment. 

One of the most effective lines is to play Nf3 d3 e4.

Oh. I was studying some games played in the 600 area-- you know, the best material. I was more trying to post traps found in the dutch, most commonly in blitz games. what idiot posts the best moves on both sides?? LOL

1.d4 f5 2.Bg5 g6 3.Nc3 just Bg7 and Black is fine in this line! e.g. 4.e4 fxe4 5.Nxe5 d5! with interesting play but a satisfactory game for Black overall.

 ur IM title did all the talking  but as redireco says, Qd2, O-O-O and h4 gives white kingside initiative right?
