Hey guys, I'm looking for a solid option against the Grunfeld defense. Against the Kings indian I play the smyslov variation, so I need to play the 3 knights against the grunfeld (in case of 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 g6 3.Nc3 Bg7 4.Nf3 d5 and transposing to a Grunfeld instead of King indian smyslov variation). The Hungarian attack ( 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 g6 3.Nc3 Bg7 4.Nf3 d5 5.Bf4) Looks very solid and interesting for white, but I dont see someone or any video or any book talking about this variation for white. There are some games of top GMs, but I couldn't find any information about it. I'm wondering if there is some problem in this variation . Someone here has some information or experience of this variation to share? Thank you

Well there are better variations against the Grünfeld like the Russian, Exchange and Petrosian variations. The Hungarian Attack is probably fine though.

It's certainly a better line against the Grünfeld than the Smyslov is against the King's Indian.
