My favorite is English and Alekhine.

I like the Kings Indian Attack (KIA) because you get to develop fast almost without considering what you opponent is doing. That is true most of the time. The attacking opportunities are great; the defensive stand is good to pretty strong; It's also easy to learn.

While I also like the KIA very much, I strongly recommend to consider what the opponent is doing when you play it. Tongue Out
