Hello everyoane. I am new at chess and posting, so I hope it's not a stupid question. I was listening to a chess lecture for begginers on youtube (link below) and at minute 6:30 it's mentioned a position, but since I am not a native speaker I have no ideea what it is said and I can't even google and I really need someone to write me the words exactly.

Thank you very much.

I'm sure exactly what you're refering to. At 6:30 she says bishop B5? or a little later she says fianchetto?

fianchetto ... that was it! I did some googling and it seems the origin of this word is Italian and means to flank your bishop. When I listened to it I always thought there were 3 english words since you could here the "and" word quite easy in the middle, but the rest didn't make sense. And it is pronounced with a 'k' and that didn't made my life easier.

Thank you so very much dnmcnabb!

In the Fianchetto, the Knight's pawn is advanced one square, and the Bishop moves behind the pawn.  This is true for both King's and Queen's sides.

Hope this clarifies the position.
