Play the Center Game (1.e4 e5 2.d4), that way, if you really are wasted and screw it up, thinking that you touched the e-pawn and you really touched the d-pawn, then when Black opposes with 1...d5, the pawn to the left doesn't result in a blunder, and now instead of the Center Game you have the Queen's Gambit!

Here's my most recent drunk game where I play 1. a3!!. However, my opponent made an even more drunk move late in the game which was 25. ... Re8!! and the game ended with my blunder move 26. Qxg7#??.
