7-1 (The Good): g6, Nf6, c6, e6, Nc6, e5, c5.
People underrate the Nimzowitsch, despite the fact that the Accepted is quite good for Black and the Declined is literally just e5 part two.

How is the Pirc questionable but the modern good. They at least have to be in the same area, if not the Pirc bieng better. And the nimzowitsch should be in the questionable category, because it is pretty questionable.

I completely agree with this. The other lists didn't feel right for me, but this list sort it out exactly the way I wanted.

Qd2 Be3 is good in the pirc for white

And the nimzowitsch should be in the questionable category, because it is pretty questionable.

Modern at least is super easy to play whereas the Pirc is filled with move order tricks, and it’s super hard to play some variations.
What do you mean Nimzowitsch is questionable?

I mean, are you extensively prepped against the Nimzowitsch? Because if not you just have to decline or get steamrolled. Black scores an incredible 49.5 points after 2. d4 on chess.com

This guy just said the Sicilian’s refuted by the wing gambit 💀💀💀💀

white’s pawn structure is absolutely wrecked, black’s significantly better and easily catches up in development, and the engine already says black has achieved equality

no wonder why the wing gambit isn’t played at the top level

Now look at this!

Black’s still great, despite being in one of the best lines for white! This is a great position for both sides.

  4. Scandinavian

The rest are not worth the time and effort to rank them.

Yeah, apparently the Sicilian is worse than the Alekhine, Nimzowitsch, Pirc and Modern 🤣

Ilampozhil25

he wanted to put it number 11 putting it below the owens, scandi AND THE BARNES DEFENSE

Barnes defense transposes into ruy lopez nuremberg variation like this.

As for why the sicilian is so low, I actually wanted to put it at 11 because it's so easily refuted.

You actually have a decent ranking yourself though.

#12, they used the wing gambit for

OMG HAHAHA, the Sicilian is refuted by the Wing Gambit. Is the OP high?

OP's list is the most glue-sniffing stupid pile of garbage I've ever seen.

OnTheRunFromCubanPolice

Glue Sniffing? I am definitely stealing that

Isn’t Be3 Qd2 also good against the modern? And it’s not like it’s refuted. There are tried and tested ways to battle it. Also the nimzowitsch isn’t taking space in the center with a pawn, and it allows white to play d4 and get good center control. At least nf6 is attacking the e4 pawn. It isn’t that bad, but it’s questionable.
