Hi all

Could someone explain some basic ideas for black when playing the QGD. What is blacks aims in the middle game and candidate moves black should be looking to achieve.

So aim to play b6 early, put the bishop on b7 and push c5 with a cxd4, with the hope of counter play down the c file with the rooks???
