Yes, the Bongcloud is good. Here are the reasons why:
1. You put your opponent under psychological pressure. If you draw or win against them, they would feel very bad. Therefore, they will try to punish you.
2. You are trolling them
3. You are following the footsteps of the world champion
4. King is worth 4 points right? so why not use it
5. you are avoiding the main lines and are pioneering a new way of playing chess

I have a chess app on my phone that I beat with the bong cloud at the candidate master level. I only have a 900 chess.com rating. It kinda reveals a little bit about how the app was programmed. It doesn't know how to think when the game deviates to fast from the best book moves.
