Wow, NearHeart, this is amazing, thank you. 7. Na3 is definitely a move I wouldn't have thought of. And in the game I actually considered 13. Rb3 attacking the Queen, but I couldn't see how I could trap the Queen after Black takes pawn on a2.
This is very useful and very complicated. I think it would be a real gamble if I tried this in a real game because it's so hard to calculate all the moves, but it'd be fun to try. Thanks again!
Hi everyone, it's my first time posting something on chess.com and any feedback would be appreciated. I played this game where I thought I blundered, losing a pawn. But the chess.com computer analysis says it is a mistake for Black to take the pawn. It's very complicated, and despite what the computer analysis says, I think in the future I should just protect the undefended pawn. By the way is this a "poisoned pawn"? Any suggestions on how to approach these situations? thanks!
