what should you do against 4.h4?

Bobby threw the word around, I think he is referring to Bobby's use of the word "refutation".  The refutation according to Bobby was the line with exf4, d6, h6 and g5.

True on the Fischer!  Wink

On top of that, the suggested line obviously against 4. h4 is bogus - no one sane or reasonable would play ...g5 there.  I don't know about 4...h6.  Even if ...h6, I assume he would counter with ...Nf6, and maybe he could get a bit wild with ...Rg8!? followed by ...g5.  I am sure this would fit in with queenside castling, if he were to do that.  But I don't know the White side in and out, so I cannot say.

g5 is a VERY common move in the Kings Gambit Accepted.

if you saw the above mentioned line where Black lost his rook, you probably wouldn't play ...g5 there.

Oh, in the sub line. My mistake, I thought you were criticizing it in the main line he posted.
