Chess Opening Principles are more useful than memorizing specific openings at the lower levels, but yes the King's Indian Defense is a solid up through Grandmaster level, so if it is fine for them, it can be fine for you too.
I won't find a game though. You can do this on your own. Literally Google it, YouTube it, or even use the chess.com games database which can filter by opening:

I have done extensive research on this subject and I have came to the conclusion that the answer is NO
The King’s Indian set up isn’t good for people rated 1000-1500. Or even people like me who are rated 2k+.
I have facts to back it up as well as a sample line which I can show you if you want me too.
Just say the word!

Actually, I would like to clarify my post #3.
When I say NO, It doesn’t mean for all chess positions.
I am just saying I have done some research which leads me to believe in some positions the line is bad. Right?
