Learn chess openings by watching a looping video

Hey everyone!

I've always wanted to learn a chess opening by just watching a looped video of the opening so I made this website that does that. It's not a complete library of all openings yet, but it has some of the main ones. Let me know what you think! I hope it's useful and helps others like myself learn chess openings better! happy.png

That obviously took a lot of work.

How long ago did you make them?

Have you watched them many times?

Do you believe they have helped you?

Very creative. Nicely done. Easier to spaced repetite these loops. Are you able make a site like Chessable where users who pay can input their own repertoires and your site will automatically make a video loop of them?

Thanks for the feedback!

I’m a developer who started the website just for fun for myself about 3 months ago. I run a chess club and every week I teach a new opening and add it to the site.

It’s all hard coded JavaScript right now but I will add a database feature eventually so you can choose your own move orders and save them just by moving the pieces :)

Right now my other project has taken over but I’ll be back to this soon!

Oh and yes! I’ve watched them many times and have memorized most the openings on the site :)
I think it’s helped so much!

It’s nice to very quickly be reminded an opening by opening up the website in my phone, clicking it and watching it. Very fast and easy and it has been extremely helpful for me.

Hope you all like it too!
