Thank you for your answer. yes you are right. I have been hiding in london system. But why is not the english an ambitious opening? I think i should switch to d4 or c4. e4 is an opening which i wont play in my chess career. I only play sometimes e4 online in a 5 minutes game. But i wont play e4 in an important tournament game. So I think the Queens gambit exchange Variation is a very good choice. But english too.

Hello guys,
i have played the London System for a very long time an I am successsful with it. But i think the system avoids my chess development. I am 16 years old an have an elo of 1300 points. (I dont play here on chess.com, look at my lastest game)
I play with black the nimzo-bogo-combi an the hyper accelerated dragon. So the London System for white doesnt suit to my black openings. I am very satisfied with the hyperaccelerated dragon.
Now, i have to decide which opening I should play in the future. I think always playing the London System will be boring. So I search for an opening with good chances to win.
First, I played the queens gambit, than the London an now I think I should play the English opening. I am a very ambitious player. Now I am noticing that I improve my chess. The reason is that I always train one hour a day for my chess tactics. But i need a good opening for white, too.
So would you recommend me the english opening?
I will still play the London system in the future. But only for surprising my opponent. Now i search an opening which i always can play as white.
