1. That's not a KID.
2. You hung a knight on move 6.
3. Your time would be better spent working on the basics like opening principles, and not hanging material, instead of openings.

@IMBacon ...sorry you're correct. It's a Pirc Defense right?
Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it. Any good videos to recommend?

Check out my profile page. I have cheat sheets there that will help you.
I see that you’ve now increased to around the 1100, well done. For now, you should probably continue to rather study strategy, tactics, and the middlegame rather than an opening, although you probably could/should find an opening which you like and just learn the principles and general ideas of, but don’t spend too much time on that

Hiii! Thanks! Yes, you're absolutely spot on with those next steps in improvement, since then I've moved onto playing Czech Pirc and now Caro Kann. Besides the opening, the principles and ideas have been incredibly helpful in my chess improvement!
I don't really know how to play when I'm black and 99% of the time I go up against 1. E4 which to me right now is the back of my chess life. I've therefore decided to no longer play like an ostrich with their head in the sand and somehow came across a video from @GothamChess (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iiVZM3FgBSo&t=1308s) and watched a 10-minute quick guide to the opening (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kK0cq6UBt1Y).
I've got a lot more learning and playing to do so I can get a better idea of the patterns. As I was playing I was so focused on setting up the defense that I didn't really catch their hanging pawn early in the game and I don't know why I didn't want to push my own pawns up.
Here's to more growth and progress. 🥂
