hi, just wondering what you think bout 1. b4?
If you gain some familiarity with it, it can be an effective surprise weapon in faster time controls, or against lower-rated players in classical events. But that's as a novelty, something to throw off the opponents who may be familiar with you.
As an online player, there is no real reason to waste time on it. It doesn't fool many people, and you will have better results playing better lines.
i've just gotten sick of the sicilian, and i'm not too bad with it: I drew a 1600 player with it
