My White Opening?

what do u think is a good opening for white?I need to inherit a good white opening because i lose more with white than black? ur opinion would be greatly appriciated. ido the queens gambit a bit but it doesnt work out well. pls comment

That's an awfully broad question . . . Queen's Gambit is a great opening but very complicated. If you want something simple, maybe try the scotch. If you want a system, the colle is great. For a gambit, King's Gambit isn't played often and is quite fun.

Depends on which first move you play. 1.e4, then that's a bit of a mess. The Four Knights Game by transposition and the Scotch are simple but provide good games. The point of the transposition would be to play a nice game without learning the complexities of Petroff's Defense (1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nf6) by following up and playing: (1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Nc3). It is a little dull after awhile, though I played nothing else when first starting out.

If you play 1.d4, then maybe the Trompowsky Attack?
