Na3 sodium opening is it any good or am I a fool for liking it...???

Whoever thought that b4 and g4 were worse than f3 and that a3 was as good as Nc3 and that Nc3 was worse than g3 and b3 has an impressive lack of mental capacity considering they are able to type.

Thank you sir. Well-argumented.
The point of 1.a3 is transpositions. For instance 1.a3 e5 2.c4 is a Sicilian with ...a6 already played. Or 1.a3 d5 2.Nf3 c5 3.c4 and ...a6 is a good move in the Benoni-like positions. I think Black can avoid that with careful play and get immediate equality, but he needs some familiarity with basically all openings, which lots of players miss.

It's more natural to assume it to be a question of chess proficiency...

itry not to insult lt anyone irontiger i try to give respect to others in threads and hope i get the same in return/ (the kings gambit is not inferior btw except for perhaps for the hanstein gambit which the cpu has put out of business, there are just too many lines which lead to forced draws which is why alot of gm's avoid it )
my basic point is just the moves i listed do not weaken the kingside, which is why i think if you like to play unorthodox openings the queenside is much safer to exeperiment with. where as some of the other junk is much riskier to white, against a good player
