what about jerome
Also, Two Knights Defense
how the hell is that a gambit???
....Ng5 winning either a pawn or the game?
no lol
White is up a pawn there.....
So it’s a gambit....
Alapin Gambit
Elephant Gambit
The symmetric Petroff gambit for black that I don't remember the name of right now (1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nf6 3. Nxe5 Nxe4). Yes, that's an actual gambit, even though 99% of the games in it are just beginners blundering into it. I know a 1900 level USCF player who specializes in this as black, and has even convinced a grandmaster to stop playing into it in simuls, out of fear that it may actually be sound.
Ryder Gambit
Soller Gambit
Zilbermintz Gambit
I swear I didn't intentionally list these alphabetically. I put them in the order I thought of them.
And as a former 1. f4 player, I probably should have remembered that from studying the opening, although I never actually played that variation.
But most people use the Swiss Gambit as a joke term to refer to someone losing their first game in a Swiss tourney to get easier pairings the rest of the way.
Lol. Yeah someone on another forum said they thought the Swiss Gambit was named the way it was because it has so many holes, like swiss cheese.

And if you mean 3... Nd4 in ruy I believe that’s birds defense
Froms Gambit is a gambit from the Bird's Opening. Black Does e5 not caring about the f4 pawn. it looks like this
you are white and you declie or accept. The best move is supposed stop Qh5+. Or you just decline by doing e3

Every single one of these were mentioned already. I was looking in explorer and found one I think no one said yet: Herrstrom gambit.
directly chess related (and the author of the book or short story)
Von Goom's gambit (Contoski)
Unicorn gambit (Bischoff)
not particularly chess related but one I like
Magician's gambit (Eddings)
