If you have any resources that explain in full detail and show the main variations of the Sicilian, also explaining the ideas behind them, I would greatly appreciate a link. I want to be extremely familiar with this opening so that I don’t completely fail when I try it. Thank you in advance

The Sicilian Kan is a very dangerous go at the Sicilian. There is a move by move book on it and it is still under testing.. with great results. There are so many different Sicilians out there you can take your pick. This book is a counterattacking and requires patience. The goal in every Sicilian is to play e5 or d5 liberating his pieces. It took me years of playing and studying to learn how to play well and not get mated.

The link to the book I’m referring to….

I see this introduction is still available. Old, but in an introductory volume that doesn't matter so much - you're looking at general ideas not the latest detailed line.

There is no single source for "full detail" of the main lines of the sicilian. I saw a starting out: king's indian book at the memphis chess club once. It was 800 pages long. Right next to it was a sicilian opening repertoire on the kalashnikov sicilian. It was even longer. Probably weighed four or five pounds. And let me tell you, the kalashnikov isn't nearly as theory heavy as the likes of the najdorf or dragon...
