new gambit???

2 ...f6, weakens the a2-g8 diagonal (it also does not help the b1-h7 diagonal either) and fails to develop a piece or do anything useful. White can respond with 3 d4 taking the center or 3 Nf3 going for development first, although the engines like white playing what is effectively a tempo up king's gambit with 3 f4, trying to completely overrun black's light squares and dark squares at the same time.
3 Nd5 is terrible. You moved an already developed piece more than once, without the support of the other pieces, or applying pressure on the black center. White loses a large part of his advantage after 3...c6! 4 Nc3, although he is STILL better--which shows just how awful 2...f6 is.
4 Qh5? g6 5 Be2 just loses a piece to pawn takes knight and White can resign.
