I've been playing this myself except play an early Bc5 when possible instead of Nc6. For insurance many positions where you can play Bc5 and ignore Nf3 threatening pawn on e5, and if they play Nxe5 you can play Bxf2+ then Qd4+ and Qxe5
This was played a few timers by German correspondence player Uwe Koenig, and then it was abandoned. It seems that the missing tempo compared to the Danish is very important.
This looks like a convincing refutation, and the computer eval after 7.Qe2 is rather +2.00 than +1.30. This would probably don't matter so much if white had to find some extraordinary moves to achieve this, but this isn't the case.
