Which book should i choose to study?

1.) Play the nimzo indian (By Edward Dearing)

2.) Nimzo And Bogo Indian (By Christof Sielecki)

The latter is more recent, but I have never read it.  The former is well written, but older.  Can pick up a lot of ideas from the former, but do not treat it like gospel because theory has changed over the last 13 years.

Dearing's book is also a repertoire book - what he suggests may not be what you prefer (I used to play one of the variations he recommends - the slightly unusual Psakhis-Romanishin variation against Rubinstein's 4.e3: b6 and c5 - his coverage of that variation is very good). If I were you I'd buy Svetozar Gligoric's book on the Nimzo-Indian first. Well-annotated games with both verbal and variation explanations in all lines. It's 30 years' old, but still considered a classic.

If you are going to play the Nimzo, you have to be prepared for someone who tries to avoid it. Look up Ragozin on youtube and look for a video by a NM, that is the best video on the ragozin move order i have ever seen.
