Yasser Seirawan played the English, French & Caro-Kann. He has some good videos on Youtube & there are probably collections of his games around somewhere

That's all you need to know for quite some time. You can work on opening variations after you have an official (FIDE, USCF etc) rating of at the very least 1500.
chess.com ratings do not count.
Just got back from a successful tournment.... took first place.... but in alot of games I got in trouble for the fact that I didnt know middle game plans and things such as that... could you good people tell me GM's that play the English opening, pirc, french, caro kann, and queen's gambit decline.... so I could study those positions
