Stafford Gambit

Interesting one

PILOTOXOMXD

The Stafford gambit is literally a blunder

chamo2074

Y? I keep getting crushed

PILOTOXOMXD

They blunder a pawn, and they don't get anything out of it. After trading Knights, just Nc3 or d3 and you're fine. I like Nc3 because it keeps my Bishop open.

Italian Gambit

what's this

chamo2074

Eveybody calls the Evans and/or the fried Liver the Italian Gambit/trap. Makes 0 sense

PILOTOXOMXD

ikr. Guys, the Evans is a brilliant sacrifice if you are a c3 d4 kinda guy. I'm a d3 solid typa guy.

And the Fried liver is legendary. You can't rename it to lower the fame and beauty of it..
