Play f4 every game as white

Just take these kids out of the book on move 1. Lately I have people aborting the game on move 1 they're so afraid to play against it.

Seriously, aborting on move 1 against a non-standard opening should be a loss.

Looks painful.

What if it turned out you were losing more than winning in this opening?

Wikipedia reports "According to the similar site 365chess.com which includes data for lower level games, as of August 2015, out of 20,010 games with 1.f4, White had won 35.1%, drawn 25%, and lost 39.9%, for a total score of 47.6%."

even the best lose

So... Is it my imagination or does the OP contradict the title?

True, but the first page of his archive shows he had 9 wins and 13 losses with white. Assuming that he does indeed play f4 every chance he gets as white, it doesn't appear to be working out.

1. f4 is a risky move. It weakens the kingside and exposes White's king. Various databases show that White has a losing record when playing 1. f4. It isn't a horrible move, but isn't good either. There is no reason to be afraid of this opening if you're Black.

It shouldn't even get people out of theory so the idea fails on every level. It's just the Dutch...

Exactly! If Black responds with 1...d5, it will result in the Dutch Defense with colors reversed. That shouldn't get any good player out of theory.

True, but it appears you ran my won games through computer analysis until they found forced mating patterns and then edited the game and displayed them as losses for me on the forums.

Even if he is doing this, keep in mind that he's an 1860 player. I think it's a little presmptious to assume he needs an engine to find forced mates by your opponent in your wins.

Impractical

Remember the words of F.D. Yates:  "It's always too soon for P-KB4."

Here are the links to the two games of yours I posted. Anyone who looks at them will see I did not edit one move:
