I play the Sicilian against 1.e4 and aim to get into a grunfeld against 1.d4. Any thoughts or suggestions on what to play against the Colle, Trompowsky, Richter-Veresov etc? I find the positions a bit dry...
How do you respond to them?

Other than waiting for responses here, try to see what other people do in similar positions, bonus points if you can see Grunfeld specialists’ (Svidler, Vachier-Lagrave, Nepomniactchi, etc.) responses
As far as I can tell:
- sometimes it maybe better to switch to a more KID type set up (with d6) especially when white develops the DSB to f4 (London in particular is not really a good way to play against a KID
- the Colle should allow you to get a decent Grunfeld (not sure)
