check on the above link--one of the 4 bridge players is me at a slightly younger age--which one is me? [there is a clue in the picture]
Ponziani Opening

The one on the far right.
Ill tell you how I knew:
First I noticed he was Ignoring the camera.
Then I noticed that you Ignore lines that seriously put a ?! on the ponziani.
You both Ignore stuff.
Did i win?

Assault I will tell you if you win after a few more guesses.
Of course it is not true that I ignore lines that are hard on the Ponziani.
There has been much published on the Fraser variation here [for one example]
There is much I have posted about difficult lines in the forums of Ponziani Power also.

Ok, Assault and Scottrf got it right. There is another clue other than what you two give. It has to do with chess. Can anyone see this clue?

Here is a line to look at re the Fraser Defense.
1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. c3 Nf6 4. d4 Nxe4 5. d5 Bc5
6. dxc6 Bxf2+ 7. Ke2 Bb6 8. Qd5 Nf2 and now the new line starts
9.cxb7 Bxb7 10. Qxb7 Nxh1 11. Na3 [11. Nxe4 should be examined]
11. ... 0-0 [also a 11. ...c6 line] 12. Bg5 Qe8 13. Nc4
There is more of course and it could very well be that this line has already been looked at and refuted.
But if it is new then food for thought

I was playing correspondence chess back then but of course in 1960 it was postal chess. In my pocket some postal cards and I think maybe also score sheets. I was age 18 and a freshman the other guys were seniors. I did not know my partner until we were paired together for the tournament.

Ponziani Power Vote Chess did not take your advice.. they have never drawn a game.
Come on Firebrand and all please comment is my new line in the Fraser actually new or has it already been seen and refuted?
