Based on the suggestion of InfiniteFlash I rethinked my approach to the young talent list, and instead of using the absolute deviation from the average rating of the player's age group, I have taken into account the standard deviation in that age group. Now my table tells how many standard deviations the player is away from the average in their age group.

This list is even more exiting than the old one, Wei Yi is no longer at the top, these are all fresh, unknown talents:
