Ne5 doesn't only lead to a knight trade, it will damage black's pawn structure.
After Nc3 Black replies Nd7! Qxc4 Nb6 and Black has fully equalized, the queen has no great square where to go.
Question about aggressiveness in opening

Hey guys,
On this position, I decided to develop my pieces(Kc3) instead of going for a trade with the knight as advised by the review (Ke5)
To me it only trade the Knights and let him develop his Bishop to defend. Sounds not very optimal as it is only the beginning (6th move)
Feel like I missed something, why is it better here to trade the knights rather than developing my pieces ? (according to the fact that I'll take the free pawn anyway one day)
