Question about the Winaver variation

Hi, I have a question about the French defense, specifically the Winawer variation. Playing with the explorer, if I reach this position with white to move, I see that the most common responses in master games are e5 (8291 games), Bd3 (44), Nge2 (10) and Bd2 (6). My obvious question is: how come axb4 is not even in the database? To me it looks the most obvious move, and the engine seems to agree with that (axb4 gives +3.1, clearly better than any other choices). What am I missing here? (maybe I have some problems in using the database?)
