I have recently looked at the latvian gambit, and it fascinates me! only I have one question to the Nakamura Variation: what happens if after ...Bc5 white plays d4! threathening Bc4 and an unstoppable fork?

Haha there is a Nakamura variation in the Latvian? Haha why aren't I the slightest surprised, I'm gonna have to take a look at that now.

The line in the 3rd sentence of Gambitking's post:

    1. P-K4 P-K4 2. Kt-KB3 P-KB4!? 3. KtxP Kt-QB3!?

should read:

      1. P-K4 P-K4 2. Kt-KB3 P-KB4!? 3. KtxP B-B4!?

to reconcile the line with the ensuing diagrams and analysis.

After 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 f5?! 3. Nxe5 Bc5 4. d4 Bb3, White has the natural 5. Bc4 with an edge in all three facets:  space, initiative and material.  One plausible continuation is 5. .. Qe7 6. Nc3 Nf6 7. 0-0 Nc6 8. exf5 Nxd4 9. Re1 +-.
