Random opening of the day

This method of studies is suggested to me by the Goddess of Chaos! 😸

The idea is to use a random integer generator between 0 and 499, it provides a random number that should be converted into an ECO code. computerpeshka

16/08/2022: 385 --> D85 Grünfeld: Exchange Variation

This opening is unimodal by popularity leading to the following position:

7. Nf3: Modern Exchange Variation

7. Bc4: Classical Exchange Variation

Actually, a curious position for white where almost all moves are good! blitzpeshka

by doing this "stamp collecting"?(also you kinda have to be premium for depth)(also also s=2.5)

random.org gave 86=A86

this position is unimodal resulting in:

which is also unimodal with 4.bg2(makes sense, why g3 if not bg2?)

after which btw is trimodal with 4...be7, 4...d5, and 4...c6

(all this is for fun, obviously)

Hello, bro! wink Nice analysis, but how these variations of the Dutch defense are called?

Ilampozhil25

3.g3 is called the 'fianchetto variation', after 4.bg2 is the "classical variation" and the others have no names

also, nothing posted on this thread is analysis of chess
