I'm a relative novice and just realized I've played what everyone agrees is a losing opening, the "Damiano defense".
On his third turn, my opponent (also not very experienced) moved the queen's pawn to d4 and I'm thinking it makes sense to move my queen to e7, even though I'm loath to move her this early, and then plan to castle queenside at some point.
Any other ideas for a good recovery from Damiano?
