As white: queen's gambit or english opening
As black: To 1. e4 - Sicilian, to 1. d4 - KID or d5 (depends on opponent and mood lol). To any other - natural development.
what kind of opening is the last one in the first post? i have never seen that one before.
i like playing the ruy lopez, but generally i play the move i think is needed in a particular situation(center control and stuff). i don't know many openings by heart.
As white: Scotch Game
As black: Najdorf sicilian against e4, camdridge springs against queen's gambit, and stonewall dutch against everything else

ya i like it because it leads to sicilian-like positions
its normaly 1.c4 e5 that leads to sicilian-esque game not the symetrical english

Ya from the white side, but the symmetrical usually leads to the maroczy bind
I play smith morra, goering gambit, alekhine (a bit of french is needed in some positions), Benoni, modern,
As white: Ruy lopez, open sicilians, mainline french, other sharp stuff if I know what I'm doing, lol.
As black: Sicilian Najdorf, Nimzo-Indian, Modern benoni, symmetrical english,1..d5 against the bird which I don't know much about but it usually works good for me.
Ok, well, we all have our pet openings, and opening variations. Well, I wanna know, whats yours? Plz post diagrams of the opening(s).
