After 1 d4, White can almost always play a reversed Tartakower Defense (1 d4 2 Nf3 3 e3 4 Be2 5 O-O 6 b3 7 Bb2, etc.)
REVERSED OPENINGS
How do you get your KBP out after 1.NF3 ? to play the Dutch. Why not just play Bird's Opening to begin with?
ChukyChess,
I was going to mention that, but I only knew it as a variation of the Nimzovitch - Larsen Attack (when White fianchettos both bishops).
As a Grunfeld player, I've tried to play into a Grunfeld Reversed a few times, but most people just transpose to the Catalan.
Spiffe,
That's chess. I think most of the time we do not get what we want. Many new players don't know much about "the book lines".

I don't think he meant 1.Nf3. This topic is called "reversed openings" and Bird's is reversed Dutch.

I think the Grunfeld and Catalan are very similar. In fact when I meet the reversed Grunfeld I call it the Catalan. One of the key lines against Grunfeld is this which is reversed closed Catalan.
Now that I am a member here it is interesting that not only do players of 1. Nf3 have the King's Indian Attack at their disposal there are other interesting reverse openings we can play. Namely the Grunfeld Defense Reversed, the Benko Gambit with colors reversed, and the reversed Modern Benoni Defense.
