Everywhere I go, from profile to profile, a question would always appear: Why the Ruy Lopez? They say it's they're favorite opening, well, even I myself would say that Smile till' I got used to the bird. Hey, I didn't even know what it was called, just practicing and got myself into an interesting position, knight attacking king pawn, knight defending back, move bishop to attack the protecting unit.... interesting Laughing. Is it to attempt at a pawn advantage? Thank you for your responses!

You can't win a pawn in the ruy lopez, white instead tries to build up a large center.
