Take, then Nc3.
Scandinavian?
after 2. Nc3 black simply plays
2...dxe4 3. Nxe4 Qd5 - and now white doesnt have any better option than 4. Nc3 which leads back into the absolutely same position as 2. e4xd5 only that one move more was played.
However, if white really wants to go new ways, he could play
4. Qf3 Bf5 (not Nf6? cause that knight falls with a check with NxNf6+ and the bQ is gone!)
After 4...Bf5 I would believe that black has at least equalized. But in real games (I play scandinavian) I am most often even better.
Why? I believe this is so, because white doesnt know much about it and trys to go a different way. However, the pawn structure is the sole of a chess game, and the whole thing remains a typical scandinavian - with one difference: black has already no problems anymore after 4... Bf5, and white has no clue. (if he had, he would go for this setup with 4. Qf3 anyway).
How do you properly Play against the Scandinavian defense? How showed I proceed? do I take? Or push to e5? Maybe develop a piece ?
