scotch gambit is a brilliant opening that plays grandmasters.the move variation of scotch gambit is following. 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nf6 3.d4. e*d4 4.Bc4.Nf6 5.e5. d4 6.Bb3

Seems a little inefficient for Black to play Nf6 twice.

i guess u mean this :

This is indeed a very interesting line which chances for both sides.

J.Emms called it "the modern attack" in his book "play the open games as black"

In response to the OP - The Scotch Gambit is a known "draw at best" line that is only popular amongst kids because of the wild tactics, but if Black knows his stuff, White gets nothing.  Also, you must know the Two Knights Defense as well, which more often comes via transposition than the actual Scotch Gambit (4...Bc5).

Did u read what line OP proposed?

I gave it above with 5.e5, not 0-0...

5.e5 gives a more complicated struggle.

Moreover, u don't give the critical line with Qh5, which is 10.Bg5 preventing black castle, although black has no problem with 10...Bd6!

Black gains full equality maybe, but we could tell the same thing with almost any line for white.

Just play what u like!
